To log in to your DELE personal area, go to tienda.cervantes.org/login, type the same email address you used to register for the exam and click “Continuar”: if you already have an account, it will ask for your password. From there you register, download your registration receipt and, after the exam, check your grades, your certificates and your diploma. The most common mistake is logging in with a different email: the site creates a new, empty account.

After every exam session I get dozens of messages like “I log in and I can't see anything” or “where do I find my results?”. It's almost always the same thing: a different email, a password that was never created, or the old Cervantes website saved in your bookmarks. Here's how the login works now, step by step.

(The video is in Spanish, with subtitles available.)

Where is the DELE login?

Your Instituto Cervantes account is on the Instituto Cervantes online shop. It's the same account you use to buy your exam registration, and it's also your personal area for grades and certificates.

If you have the old exams website (examenes.cervantes.es) bookmarked, it now takes you to an Instituto Cervantes information page. As of 2 November 2026 it's under maintenance while a new website is being built, and it only shows dates, deadlines and an “accede a tu espacio personal” link, which sends you to the same login page on the shop.

How do I log in to my personal area, step by step?

  1. Go to tienda.cervantes.org/login. You'll see the “Iniciar sesión o registrarse” screen (log in or register). If the site appears in Spanish, you can switch the language at the top right.
  2. Type your email address and click “Continuar”. It has to be the same email you used to register for the exam, letter by letter.
  3. If that email already has an account, the site asks for your password. If it doesn't, it offers to create a new account.
  4. Once you're in, look for the section with your purchases or registrations (for the receipt) or your certifications (for grades and the diploma).

Pay attention to step 3, because that's where the trap is: if the site offers to create an account and you've already registered, stop. You're probably typing a different email, or the same one with a typo. A new account will be empty: neither your registration nor your results will be there.

I forgot my password (or never created one): what do I do?

This happens to lots of people, because on the Cervantes shop you don't create your password when you register: you create it afterwards, from a link sent by email. If you don't have one:

  • From the login screen, ask to recover or reset your password using your registration email.
  • You'll get an email from noreply@cervantes.es with the subject “Restablecimiento de contraseña” (password reset). Check your spam folder too.
  • Click the link as soon as you can, because it expires, and type your new password twice.
  • Go back to the login page and log in with your email and new password.

I show you every screen in DELE registration: step-by-step guide.

What can I do in my personal area?

  • Register for an exam session (in Spain, registration is online only). Registration for the 2027 sessions opens on 18 November 2026.
  • Download your registration receipt, which you have to bring on exam day with your original ID document.
  • Check your grades once they're published and download your grade certificate.
  • Download your digital diploma if you passed. More in DELE certificate: how to download it and whether it expires.

Why can't I see my results if I've already taken the exam?

The most common reasons, in order:

  • They haven't been published yet. Results come out about two months after the written exams, and about three for the May and November sessions. Details in DELE results: when they come out and how to check them.
  • You logged in with a different email. Log out and log back in with the exact registration email. If you're not sure which one you used, search your inbox for the purchase confirmation.
  • You registered directly with an exam centre (common outside Spain). Log in with the email you gave the centre and, if nothing shows up, ask the centre which email they registered you with.
  • Your diploma is from before 2024. Those can't be downloaded directly: ask the centre where you took the exam for a digital copy in your personal area.

If none of this solves it, write to the Instituto Cervantes user support service with your full name, ID number, level and exam session.

How do I know I'm on the official website?

There are only two addresses you need: cervantes.org (official exam information) and tienda.cervantes.org (your account, registration and results). If a site with a different domain asks for your Cervantes password or promises to “show your grade early”, it isn't official: the Instituto Cervantes doesn't release results early. And don't share your secure verification code (CSV) on social media: it gives access to your document.

Frequently asked questions

Is the DELE login the same as the CCSE login?

Yes, both exams are managed with your Instituto Cervantes account on the online shop. If you're taking both for Spanish citizenship, use the same email and you'll have everything in one place.

Can I change the email on my account?

Don't do it by creating another account: write to the Instituto Cervantes user support service and explain your case, with your registration details.

I made a mistake in my name when I registered: can I fix it from my account?

Contact your exam centre or the user support service. If your details are changed, your digital diploma is automatically regenerated with the correct information.

Is there a DELE app to check results?

No. You check your results in your personal area and they also arrive by email. The free official Instituto Cervantes app that does exist is for the CCSE, to prepare for that test.

In short

  • The DELE login is at tienda.cervantes.org/login.
  • Always log in with your registration email: with a different one, the site creates an empty account.
  • Your password is created or reset from a link sent by noreply@cervantes.es (check spam).
  • From there you register, download your receipt, check your results and download your diploma.
  • If you can't see your results, first check whether they've been published and which email you used.

And if your next step is registering, don't go in blind: my online courses for each level give you strategies for every paper, commented examples, a community, a Q&A chat and group calls.
