How do you register for the DELE in 2026?

Registration has changed: it's no longer done on the old exams website, but in the Instituto Cervantes' official online store, tienda.cervantes.org. In Spain, registration is online only; outside Spain you can also register directly at your exam centre.

  • Create your account first. You register with just your email, and the password is created afterwards, from “Recupera tu cuenta” (recover your account).
  • Find your exam. Choose your country and city, click “Ver DELE” and filter by level and session.
  • Choose your centre and check it's the right one before paying.
  • Fill in your details letter by letter, exactly as they appear on your passport or NIE, and pay by card.
  • Download your registration receipt and keep it for exam day.

I walk you through it screen by screen, with screenshots, in how to register for the DELE in 2026, step by step.

⚠️ Don't leave it until the last day: centres have limited places and they can run out before registration closes.
